Tracking progress is must for better results – Day 18/90

Its day 18th of 90 days daily writing challenge to develop better thinking and writing skills through English language. The aim of this challenge is to reach a level of proficiency where writing high quality articles becomes effortless.

In this article I will share why I believe tracking progress is must for faster improvement at anything.

What do measuring progress do?

Measuring progress is crucial to improve in any skills. Without measuring one’s progress it’s hard to know how much one has improved in a certain skills. The best part about measuring one’s progress is it reveals how much progress you have made and what needs to be improved. If you are serious about learning then I would highly suggest to keep track of your progress.

Acts as a catalyst

Tracking progress acts a catalyst when learning any skill. When you track your progress you are exposed to the reality of where you are and how much more work you need to put in order to step ahead in your learning journey. Knowing my everyday progress not only pushes me to work more harder towards my goal but helps me improve much faster in terms of achieving my goals.

Motivates to work more

Motivation from work itself is the most crucial part of enhancing the learning journey. Its hard to know where I was and where I am now if I don’t track my progress. When I see the results of my work it motivates me to work more and more. The process itself becomes interesting as nothing is more rewarding than seeing oneself getting better and better.

My experience writing this article

After writing this I can only say in order to write better high quality articles I need to study other great articles and blogs.

Time it took me to write this article

It took me less than an hour to complete this article. I finished this article much earlier than previous ones because at one point I realised I dont have much to say on this topic.
