It’s day 14th of 90 days daily writing challenge to improve my English thinking and writing skills. The aim of this challenge is to achieve proficiency in writing articles to an extent where producing high quality articles just becomes effortless.
In this article I would like to put some emphasis on how prioritizing tasks help me with better mental clarity and makes it easy to finish them.
What happens when I don’t prioritize task?
Let’s say there are some necessary task that needs to be done but I dont prioritize them. So what’s gonna happen now. I may start with the task which isn’t the most important one and end up delaying the ones which should be finished first or at worst I may even end up not finishing the most important ones. Sometimes it does happen that I took a lot of time finishing the less important task first and is left with not much time to complete the most important one so as a result the quality of the work is compromised that too with the one which was most necessary of all hence it leads to inefficiency and chaos later on.
Why and how prioritizing is helping me?
I already mentioned on how not prioritizing the task leads to inefficiency and chaos but now it’s time to talk about why and how prioritizing tasks has helped me. The best part about prioritizing the task is it provides with the mental clarity on what needs to be done first hence increasing efficiency and quality too. Whenever I prioritize the task it becomes much easier to finish them because I dont have to deal with extra effort of thinking about other tasks unless and until I am done with the most prioritised ones. Finishing the task of higher priority helps to build the confidence to carry out other less priority task too as the sense of achievement gained from doing higher ones feels rewarding and motivating.
My Experience writing this article
Writing this article was bit tough for me. I tried backing up my points as much as possible but still I would say wasn’t able to express what I was willing to. With this article I have learned that as a beginner I should not choose topics over which I dont have much to say.
Time it took me to write this article
It took me an hour to write this article which is what I expected. From beginning I was quite sure this article would require a lot more thinking to come up with valid points.
